The Ultra Music Festival (UMF) takes place in Miami, Florida every year and has attracted up to 100,000 attendees. DJs performing at the Ultra Music Festival are introduced by emcee Damian Pinto, the so-called “Voice of Ultra.”

A Google search reveals a variety of mug shots displaying Pinto’s face. But, why was the “Voice of Ultra” arrested in the first place? Damian Pinto has been arrested on several occasions with multiple felony charges.
These charges cover a multitude of offenses, ranging from knowingly driving with a suspended license and fleeing police, to drug possession and various traffic infractions. Additional searches of Pinto’s past reveal a history of debts, evictions and civil court cases that span over a twenty-year period.
The Broward County Criminal Court records on Damian Pinto show two felonies and other criminal cases, including Grand Theft in the 3rd degree.
In addition, Damian Pinto was convicted for Fleeing a Police Officer, Possession of Cannabis, Driving with a Revoked License (several times) and Violation of Parole.
In the area of civil court cases, court records show several evictions from apartment complexes, including the Courtyard of Tivoli and Eagle Nest Apartments. Pinto was also sued for failure to pay a home furnishing debt to Modernage Furniture for $10,660.
In addition to the above-mentioned criminal and civil charges, Damian Pinto was questioned about his connection in a triple slaying that took place years ago.
The case involved the murder of three people in Fort Lauderdale: Vincent D’Angola, Jami Schneider, and Mark Rizzuto. Damian Pinto was stabbed outside of a nightclub shortly after attending D’Angola’s wake.
Pinto was then questioned by police officer Richard Fortunato about the identity of his attacker. Fortunato’s police report states that a “belligerent and intoxicated Pinto refused to name his attacker and began yelling, ‘He is a dead man, I’ll get him, I’ll kill him.’”
The Ultra Music Festival makes its way to Miami every year. The Ultra fans and festival promoters need to take a closer look at the individuals leading this popular music festival.
